A Taste of Coatesville

The Alliance for Health Equity (or the Alliance) serves as a trusted ally in developing substantive solutions to address complex health, social and economic conditions in the Greater Coatesville area of Pennsylvania. By working in partnership with the community, corporate, government, nonprofit, and philanthropic sectors, we are helping to ensure the ability of the community to thrive. 

This season, we will be gathering local businesses, as well as food and drink vendors, for A Taste of Coatesville. A Taste of Coatesville will take place on the grounds of Graystone Mansion, a historical legacy in the City of Coatesville, on  June 22nd from 5:30 8:00 PM. During this fundraising event, visitors and community members will have an opportunity to experience Coatesville’s finest food, refreshments, merchandise, and music, all while supporting our mission! 

In addition to the aforementioned fun, the Transportation Management Association of Chester County (TMACC) will be supplying tours of the City’s parks as part of The Alliance for Health Equity’s Healthy Living strategy. The Alliance for Health Equity’s scholarship awardees will also be present at the event and will receive recognition, as well as the Alliance Eastburn Community Service Award recipient.

And Coming Soon: The 2024 Tour De Coatesville Spring Wellness Day!

With the support of the community, A Taste of Coatesville is sure to be a success and will help launch our 2024 Tour De Coatesville Spring Wellness Day event! While still in the planning stages, the Tour De Coatesville will include a reception, a 5K around the City Parks, and a Wellness Day with Equity Center providers, showcasing the various culturally sensitive health options available to Coatesville residents. 

Through continued allyship and inviting various stakeholders to the table, we are bringing together private, public, investment, and government institutions to collectively tackle the challenges Greater Coatesville faces. We are excited to share details soon for our upcoming 2024 Tour De Coatesville Spring Wellness Day, where we will gather multiple forces to make collective change.

The Alliance is a philanthropic organization that strives to advance a more equitable, resilient, and healthy community for all residents of the Greater Coatesville area.
