The Brandywine Center

A Home for Quality Low-Income Housing and Affordable Healthcare

The Alliance for Health Equity pulled together over $13 million in public and private funds to build the Brandywine Health and Housing Center in 2008, exemplifying our commitment to improving the City of Coatesville and investing in its economic future by supporting first-rate facilities and services for all, particularly the underserved.

The center brought together several vital health and social services under one roof, the only Federally Qualified Health Center providing integrated primary care, prenatal, and pediatric services, dental, management of chronic diseases and behavioral health services by ChesPenn Health Service and Child Guidance Resource Centers.

It is also home to serving our low-income older population with 24 affordable apartment units in the community. The location in the center of town made it easy for all residents in the area to access the facility.
