What Our Supporters Are Saying

“My love of Coatesville started in the late 1970s when my professor in an MBA program at Widener University assigned us a project to examine the issues related to the Coatesville Hospital closing. This closure would have had an impact on access to healthcare and transportation in the community.

I feel that the issues faced in the late 70s parallel today’s problems with the hospital closure. It’s amazing what happened in Coatesville then and what’s happening now – watching people face these challenges before and watching them do it again now. When people go through challenges, they learn their strengths.

I’m a huge supporter of Coatesville. And I’m so impressed with the work that the Brandywine Health Foundation did, and The Alliance for Health Equity is continuing. The Alliance is doing an amazing job! It warms my heart to talk about Coatesville. Coatesville is all about the people who live there. It is a wonderful place.”

Betsy Walls, 18 Year Donor

“Support for the Equity Health Center was a perfect fit for the purpose of the County’s ARPA funds because it will benefit so many people in Coatesville and the surrounding area. It has always been the mission of The Alliance for Health Equity to provide access to quality health care for everyone in and around this City, and the closing of Brandywine Hospital spurred on community collaboration that has resulted in this Equity Health Center. The County did not hesitate to invest in this Center, and we will continue to work with The Alliance for Health Equity and partners to strengthen this community.”
