Empowering Change Through Community Support
Chester County OIC
Discover how our Seed-And-Scale Grantee is transforming Greater Coatesville and making strides towards a healthier future for all.

Background
CCOIC is committed to “Helping People Help Themselves” through workforce development programs designed to empower low-income residents, working-class individuals, and those identified as ALICE (Asset Limited, Income Constrained, Employed). Our goal is to promote economic wellness and financial stability.
By providing free adult education, industry-recognized credentials, and comprehensive workforce services in the Greater Coatesville 19320 area, CCOIC aims to address employment as a key factor in social determinants of health.
With the 2024 Seed & Scale Match Funds, CCOIC will increase individuals’ chances of securing and retaining sustainable, well-paying jobs. Their objectives include:
- Connecting unemployed, underemployed, or justice-involved individuals with livable wage opportunities.
- Offering supportive services, training, and education.
- Building partnerships with employers.
- Enhancing professional development and job retention.
These initiatives are designed to help participants achieve economic stability, mobility, and self-sufficiency.
$25,000 in donations will be matched DOLLAR-FOR-DOLLAR by The Alliance for Health Equity.
