Empowering Change Through Community Support

Community, Youth, and Women's Alliance (CYWA)

Discover how our Seed-And-Scale Grantee is transforming Greater Coatesville and making strides towards a healthier future for all.

Background

The Seed-And-Scale Match Fund is used to launch a Homeless Empowerment Pilot Program designed for individuals living on the streets within the city limits. This program will offer essential services including access to showers, clean clothing sourced from daily donations, and nutritious meals, with either breakfast or lunch provided depending on the time of arrival.

Also, the program will provide case management services for 16 hours per week, spread over two days, with compensation hourly. Mental health support will be available through a licensed counselor for 12 hours per week, also over two days, with payment on a fee-for-service basis.

This comprehensive initiative aims to meet immediate needs while also providing crucial mental health support and long-term case management.

$30,000 in donations will be matched DOLLAR-FOR-DOLLAR by The Alliance for Health Equity.
