In our recent blog, Get Active and Activate Change: Cycle4Change 2022, we talked about the opportunity to meet and compete with community members for a worthy cause during the month of June. If you haven’t registered yet, there is still time! When you participate in Cycle4Change this year, each mile cycled will be matched as a $1 donation to the health, resilience, and inclusivity efforts in our Coatesville community. So grab a group of friends, family members, or co-workers to form a team, or sign up to cycle as an individual. You may even win some great prizes along the way! Awards include Most Raised (team captain), Furthest Distance Team, Furthest Distance Individual, Best Team Photo, Best Cycling ‘Fit, and Best Photo with Cycling Companion (animals included).
❂ Date: Anytime between Friday, June 3rd and Thursday, June 30th
❂ Location: Anywhere you choose, indoors or outside
❂ Distance: Any distance — ride to meet your personal goals. Log your miles each week using the form on our website. When you are done, celebrate, and don’t forget to take pictures and post them on social media (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter) using #cycle4change
❂ Cost: $15 for adults or $10 for youth
As part of the registration process, you will be able to create or join an existing team, or you can choose to ride solo. We’ll provide the tools to make fundraising easy. Over the past two years, we have raised over $25,000 and counting through donations and the efforts of our participants, including teams and event partners like Alyssa’s Adventurers, Bella’s Bikers, Brumbaugh Wealth Management, and Countryside Consulting, and individuals like Isabella Hanson and Nicholas Torres. We invite you to ride with The Alliance For Health Equity and participate in Cycle4Change today to improve the health of yourself, your friends, and your family members while also cycling to improve the health, social, and economic conditions affecting our Coatesville community. And as always, thank you for your support!
The Alliance for Health Equity (formerly Brandywine Health Foundation) is a philanthropic organization striving to advance a more equitable, resilient and healthy community for all residents of the Greater Coatesville area. We pursue our mission by providing grants and scholarships to local nonprofits and students that address health and economic disparities and social justice. We also build partnership programs and give voice to those often left out of community solution building to improve the overall health of their communities. 100% of contributions go directly to those in need.
