The Alliance for Health Equity is proud to announce the awarding of $200,000 over two years to ten (10) nonprofit recipients of the 2023 Well Being Fund. This fund was created to provide multi-year general operating support to organizations that focus on mental health, employment, education, housing, and health centered services within the Greater Coatesville region. As part of The Alliane’s trust-based philanthropy, this funding aligns with the strategic priorities of Integrated Services and Helping People Live Healthy and Well.
In the Spring of 2022, The Alliance committed to focusing its grantmaking efforts on the most pressing community needs related to the Social Determinants of Health (SDOH). The identification of the community’s needs was based on community and grant partner surveys as well as interviews.
