Submissions are still OPEN until MAY!!! The Greater Coatesville community is encouraged to submit an overview of an idea/solution to one or more challenge questions (below) for The Let's Talk Allyship: Community-Designed Solutions sessions from March - June. Five awards from $500 - $2,500 will be given to ideas presented to the public and a cross-section panel of representatives from government, nonprofit, business, and community sectors. Proposed ideas will be provided with a free consultation before the presentation to attendees and panelists.

Here are the challenge questions:
- Economic Redevelopment: What is your idea(s) on how we can prevent the displacement of current Greater Coatesville residents? How do we increase the number of new local businesses in downtown Coatesville?
- Health: What is your idea(s) to give Greater Coatesville families and residents what’s necessary to live a healthy life?
- Mental Health: What is your idea(s) to give Greater Coatesville families and residents what’s necessary for the emotional well-being and care they need?
- Education: What is your idea(s) to give Greater Coatesville students the support they need to graduate?
- Employment: What is your idea(s) to give Greater Coatesville workers the support they need to earn higher wages and remain living in Greater Coatesville?
- Housing: What is your idea(s) to give Greater Coatesville families and residents the support they need to become a homeowner in Greater Coatesville?

Join The Alliance on Thursday, February 16 from 4:30 - 6:30 for our first Let's Talk Allyship: Community-Designed Solutions session at The Brandywine Center in Coatesville. Seven (7) Greater Coatesville community members will present solutions to topics relating to health, mental health, education, employment, housing, and economic revitalization.

The second cohort of the Nonprofit Justice and Equ

The second cohort of the Nonprofit Justice and Equity Institute kicks off TODAY at 10!!! The Alliance and the Tammy Dowley-Blackman Group -TDB Group are excited to begin a series of seven workshops targeted at the nonprofit sector to self-assess and become socially responsible for unintentional inequitable practices, programs, and processes within their organization’s culture.
